Here we have a very rare, historic portrait of 13 astronauts and scientists assembled, in April, 2010, inside the Kibo Lab of the International Space Station, while the Discovery shuttle was docked at the station.

The STS-131 crew:  Commander Alan Poindexter, Pilot James Pl Dutton Jr, and Mission Specialists Clayton Anderson, Rick Mastacchio, Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger, Stephanie Wilson and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Naoko Yamazaki.  The group also includes Expedition 23 Crew Commander Oleg Kotov, cosmonauts Mikhail Kornienko and Alexander Skvortsov.

The crew is rounded out with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Soichi Noguchi, and NASA astronauts T.J. Creamer and Tracy Caldwell Dyson.  (The STS-131 crew can be seen in the light blue shirts.)
